Hello blogging world. I haven't written in a while. I usually get on my blog to see whats new with everyone else and to she what the saving shopping blog has to say. So this morning I thought I might share a few thoughts I have been having. I even had to look at my blog this morning cause I couldn't remember what it looked like. Sad, I know.
#1 Thought: I FINALLY GET A VACATION!!! I am soo excited cause James and I are planning to go down to California for spring break! We haven't been back since we got married a year and nine months ago. I am so excited to be able to go home and visit. If I could go back and teach my teenage self a few things I would. To appreciate the time I had with my family. I sure do miss them and am overly excited when I get to see them! Plus I am looking forward to the road trip. I love them I love who I get to spend them with, JAMES!!! Right now it is just the two of us but what a great way to be together! Love, love, love it!
#2 Thought: I am ready for a change in job. There might be a possiblity that i would be able to move to a different store but I don't know if that is going to help me to feel better. I have been with Staples for 7 years and 8 months. I think it would work better if I could just switch stores but lets be honest retail isn't the easiest place to work. Although I would rather work retail anyday over food service. Both of which I have done. I want do do something different. I want to explore other things that I might be good at. My mom things I should go into designing but not to sure, and it would take some school. I think that could be fun but on the other hand I don't know if I would be successful at it.
#3 Thought: Getting pregnant is more difficult than I thought. Not sure if I should elaborate more on that but it is kind of frustrating. It feels like it should be easy...no. Although I haven't had almost three cycles. I should probably go to the doctor and find out what is really wrong but I'm scared. I don't want them to tell me that I am not going to be able to have one of the things I have always wanted. Already got the other one; James.
#4 Thought: I am so blessed to have the mom that I do. When ever the question is ask about what makes a good friend or who do you look up to, my very first thought is my mom. Why? Because my mom stuck by me even when I was the meanest daughter. She was there and always loving me. She is still there and can talk to me just about any time I want.
Well I should get going. James is up and we need to get some breakfast before conference. Hopefully more later!
P.S. Happy 32nd Anniversary to my parents! Yay Congratulations! May you have infinity more anniversaries! Love you both very much!

#1- Yay!
#2- You should do something you enjoy. If you think you would like doing some kind of design, you should go for it! School would be an added expense, but it would be invaluable for learning the tools of the trade. And about being successful--it takes time and work. No one is immediately successful at anything. You don't have some inherent quality that would make you successful or not. It's all about work.
#3- Sorry :-( That can be so hard. I would just recommend not stressing about it (way easier said than done, I know). It's not always easy for everyone to get pregnant; sometimes it just takes a while. Doctors usually won't do any kind of infertility testing/treatment until you've been trying for a year or more. The best thing you can do is just relax about it and take care of yourself--exercise and good nutrition can go a long way in helping you feel better now AND when you do get pregnant.
#4- Aww :)
First, hooray for blogging! I haven't seen you in foreverrrr and since you never blog...I don't know what's going on. But, today you blogged!!
Second, I'm excited for your VACATION! Vacations with husbands are sooo much fun!
Third, change jobs! Do it. You will be sooo happy!
Fourth, I'm sorry. Getting pregnant is hard. :( And it sucks. We should go have lunch! :)
BLOG woman! :)
I'm so excited to see you and James!
I know nothing of getting pregnant, but it does seem like the minute you stop worrying about is the minute you are able to conceive. Plus I'm sure eliminating stress and maintaining a healthy lifestyle is also helpful.
Just know that having to wait for a short period of time for your baby is nothing compared to how long you will enjoy being a mother!
Oh, and you should talk to Curtis about job issues - he's going through a very similar circumstances.
I think you should totally go for something different while you have the time and the energy, and there seems to be a lot of opportunity out there for people as creative as you.
Just wanted to say something on the not getting pregnant. If you are missing cycles, go see your doctor! Regardless of getting pregnant or not, that normally means there is something go on. For me, I waited 6 months because everyone told me that I had to wait a year but if I had seen my doctor sooner about it then we would have found out sooner that I had PCOS. Missing periods is not normal and would indicate that you are not ovulating.
I love to read your blog! Glad to hear about some of your thoughts. I am really looking forward to having you here. We'll have a lot of fun.
You have a good work ethic and I think would do well at whatever you love. Now is your best time to get some education going forward.
Taking the best care of yourself, for now, is the very best thing you can do. Don't stress. Get a hobby you are excited about to keep your idle moments filled.
Thank you for your kind words. I am so thankful that you are a wonderful part of our family. That is why your birthday is so close to Thanksgiving.
Love you lots. See you soon. Bring your quilt top if you want. Yay for vacations!
