My Thoughts

1. I'm am so psyched that I got my hair in a very small but stable messy bun today! YAHOO!

2. I have two blogs and I don't really post on either one. I was thinking about scratching the two and starting a new one for both rather than separate the two. It would be private so I'd only have close family and friends watching.

Today's Positives

*Made Salmon for dinner even though I was tired. Good thing you can just put on butter, dill and put it in the oven!

*The clean laundry is put away.

Don't Ya Just Feel That Way Some Times

Well today is my stupid day. I don't know I just feel stupid about computers. I wish that I was smarter. Everytime I break my computer I have to yell "DADDY!"...well I don't really yell but call or text. Not that my dad makes me feel dumb about it I just wish that I didn't feel like such a mooch or stupid because I broke it AGAIN. And of course its the job looking time of year. I don't know how I manage to do that. Maybe that is why James hasn't gotten a real teaching job yet. But Thankfully my dad is patient with me and fixes the computer so that I can go on with life.

I have been thinking about how I've been with  Staples for almost 8 1/2 years! Crazy I know. That is why I am trying to fix it...meaning I have been thinking about going back to school for a while and I just have ACTUALLY started looking. I have got some information off of the UVU Website and emailed someone about seeing if I can get some of my credits from previous college work to go towards it. Well it has been almost ten years but I have hope.  When my dad went back to college the college he went to took almost all of his credits that I think were 20 years old. I don't know if I have that much hope that they will take all of mine, but I'm hoping some. If not oh well, something new for me to do to break free.

Speaking of breaking free, if all goes well James and I will be out of debt in one year! YAY! I think this is all I have to say today! Hope all is well in the life of my few readers! Thanks for the support!

Thanksgiving

November is the month of Thanksgiving, the holiday, and also daily Facebook and blog updates by many people of the things/people they are thankful for. I didn't do the daily thing this year but there are many things I am grateful for.

I am grateful for the goodly parents I have. One of my friends recently had a baby and at her baby shower they passed around a little book for everyone to write there best parenting advice in. My first thought was, "I'm not a parent, I don't have any." But then I got thinking about work and the parenting I see on a daily basis, the good the bad and the ugly. Then I wrote to never be afraid to tell you children NO! It won't kill them and they might even thank you one day. So here it is THANK YOU MOM AND DAD FOR NOT BEING AFRAID TO TELL ME NO...CONTINUALLY! :) I am grateful my parents were not afraid to tell me no. I am a better person for it. They knew how to be the best parents I needed and STILL need :)

I am grateful for the loving, patient and goofy husband I have! I think patient explains it all. I am also grateful for my in-laws. That was always one thing that I was always afraid of was having in-laws that I didn't like. But I didn't need to worry because I have the BEST in-laws! They are very supporting of James and I.

I am grateful for my friends who I don't get to see very often, but when I do it is such a great joy!

I am grateful to have a job. I know I complain about it a lot because it is hard sometimes but in the end I am grateful to have it and that with it I can help support my little family.

Most of all, I am grateful for the patience that Heavenly Father shows toward my stubborn ways. And that even when I am weeping and wailing and gnashing my teeth (sometimes at Him) he is there to hold me, comfort me and give me gentle reminders that He loves me and is there. He knows that to become more like him we too also have to suffer and I know He knows me and what I am going through, because he has already been there. This year in primary we have been teaching the children lessons out of the New Testament. I am grateful for that opportunity to teach those sweet children and be reminded how much Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ love me and everyone!

And I am grateful you read my blog! Thank you!

Funny Joke

Okay well I think this is funny :) Kinda fits my line of work too.

Three Men—One German, one Japanese and a hill billy, were sitting naked in a sauna

Suddenly there was a beeping sound. The German pressed his forearm and the beep stopped. The others looked at him questioningly. “That was my pager,” he said, “I have a micro-chip under the skin of my arm”

A few minutes later a phone rang. The Japanese fellow lifted his palm to his ear. When he finished he explained, “That was my mobile phone. I have a micro-chip in my hand.”

The hill-billy felt decidedly low tech, But not to be out done, he decided he had to do something just as impressive. He stepped out of the sauna and went to the bathroom. He returned with a piece of toilet paper hanging from his behind. The others raised their eyebrows and stared at him. The Hill-billy finally said… “Well,…will you look at that I’m getting a fax.”
