Dear Blog,

There has been so much going on in the last month. I have been meaning to write but I have just been so busy and by the time I have time I'm too tired. So here I am at 7:15 in the morning on my day off. I'm not to tired but still tired, its my internal alarm clock. So anyway.

Thanksgiving this year was amazing! James' mom made a fabulous thanksgiving dinner! I really wanted to take a picture, even brought my camera, but it was pretty much time to eat when we got there so I didn't really get a chance. But that's okay. Although I did get a picture of me making the rolls!
I had to take a picture of the rolls in the oven becuase they one looked so good (and smelled so good) while they were cooking, and two because this time they actually looked like my mom's rolls! They were very tasty and of course everyone loved them. One of my favorite things about thanksgiving is that my mom always used to get out her china dishes and the blue glasses and even though I didn't think they were very cute/pretty, the tradition became my favorite! So when we showed up for Thanksgiving at James' parents house they had done the same thing! It was so cool to me! They pulled out the china dishes and the purple cups! It was so awesome. It was almost like Thanksgiving at home! I am so thankful to have married into such a great family! I couldn't have asked for a better one!
Black friday came and went. I was definitly a difficult day cause I had to be to work at 5:30am. But I am grateful to have a job!...a good job!

Saturday I was back at work again and when I came out to my car after I got off work my car wouldn't start. So one of the boys I work with came and jumped my car. But this day wasn't totally a bust becuase a little bit after I got home from work my cousin came over and helped us decorate our Christmas tree and then afterward we made sugar cookies with cookie cutters. Haven't done that in ages! Here are some pictures:

It was definitly a fun play date that James and I had with Breanna!

On the James front, he is doing well. The week before last we were up till one in the morning working on it went to bed for four hours got up worked on it some more. Left for work and school. James got off school a little early, came home worked on it some more. Came to me at work. We organized it burned it to one of our CD's and then he ran it over to the school. It was difficult but glad its done. He has still be student teaching this week and next week and then he is done. Just in time for the holidays. I am so grateful for James and the amazing man he is! He is such a trooper! Not totally sure what he is going to do but I'm sure things will work out!

Speaking of working I do have lots of things to do around the house! I should get going! Well anyway hope you had fun reading and looking at the pictures! Happy Saturday.

Dear Blog,

I really don't know what to say but its 6:40 on a Sunday morning and I'm awake. I've been awake for almost thirty minutes, thanks to my tromping neighbors. Simon and Garfunkel sang a song about this. "One Man Ceiling is Another Man's Floor" There was also a group called The New York Voices that sang that song too. When I was younger, well in high school, we did a marching show and we used the songs from the New York Voices (orignially done by Simon and Garfunkel), as a result I (or my mom) bought the CD and it had that song on there. I used to love to sing that song! If only then I would have known how true that song is. Okay well I just looked it up and maybe not by Simon and Garfunkel, just Paul Simon and just the part that says: "Remember, one man's ceiling is another man's floor" My neighbors definitely use their floor.

So I tried to beat Friday the 13th and have a good day. Well I did. It was my day off and so I clean the whole house and then since it was Friday, James and I went out for our weekly date. Friday is kinda our date night. If I don't have to work. It was a good day, I felt accomplished and there is nothing better than being with and hanging out with James! But whoa watch out for the 14th. I think the 13th curse followed me to the 14th. Not the best day ever lets just leave it at that. Nothing seriously bad happened it was just really hard to get into a good mood. Today is our primary program and so we had the practice for that in the morning and then I had to go to work. I don't know what it was but just couldn't get into a good mood. Oh well hopefully today will be better, I will be more happy after this primary program is over.

Well I guess I've done enough complaining, although that's all I want to do right now. James is so wonderful cause he is so patient with me. Speaking of James he is almost done with his school! Yay! I kinda came into his life at the end but the part I have been here for has seemed to be difficult for him but he sure loves to teach those kids! He only has two of his college class times left and teaching until Dec. 23. Right before Christmas! What a present! Of course I am still working. I know right now it feels like I'll be working forever but there is still the hope that one day I won't have to so I can just say home with my babies...If I ever decide I want them. I know all of you are thinking that of course I do cause that's what I've wanted my whole life. Well funny thing about children and teenagers they don't know everything. This one grew up and realized what life really is. There I go again, complaining. Well I'm going to stop now.

Thank you for listening to me. It is always nice to get feelings out. Hopefully next blog will be happier. Well I should get going. Need to do a few things for my primary lesson!

P.S. Weather is getting colder, it snowed yesterday.

Dear Blog,

And to those who read it.

I know I haven't blogged in a while and this blog probably won't be very long but I thought I should at least say something.

I'm still alive and loving being married. Its not the easiest thing in the world but still the best. It is the best because James is! I have quickly found out that doing some of the things I've seen my mom do forever are not as easy for me. Like sending lunches, making dinner, grocery shopping. That was kinda surprising and shocking to me. Mom can do it why can't I. Of course my mom has been doing it a lot longer than me! Although I still think that she was always good at it even in the beginning.

James and I are alive. Ever since we have been married one of us has been sick. He started it and then I got really sick with a fever. Then I got better and he got a cough which turned into bronchitis and he is getting kinda better and now I'm starting with a cough. This isn't happening. I only get sick once every 3-4 years! Oh well. Living closely with another person, I've heard, can do that to you. Although I have a loving sister-in-law that assured me we would get over this. I hope so. I don't want us to trade off being sick forever!

I am still working. Most of the time I like it. Although I'm losing all of my crew and even one of the new people we hired so hopefully this will turn out okay. But the good thing is, is that I get to train my new people with how I want them to do things the way I want! James is still student teaching. He loves it. He loves the kids! We are both looking forward to December when he will graduate. The only thing is, is that the new school year doesn't start until August. But I'm not terribly worried because only in the short time that James and I have been married we have been taken care of so I know it will be ok! Who knows he might take some more classes, that could be fun for him. We'll see.

So I really want to start a blog for James and I's family and want to include both of our last names. So that I can have a place to update for both of us and then this one of course would just be for me...and my thoughts. Any ideas? James brother said one time something like, "Your Hart got caught in the Webb." I thought that was kinda cute. But I'd like to have something about Hart strings and spider Webb. I don't know. Just thought I'd put it out to the masses to help me.

Well this turned out to be longer than I thought. Well anyway, hope things are going well for all who read this and their families too! I love you all!

Do you feel weirdness in your life?

Well I was in the middle of making a comment on a friends blog and decided instead of commenting on theirs that I'd blog about it on mine. Recently a friend blogged about feeling "old" partly because of the culture that they live in. My friend recently talked about feeling old because they were turning 23 and not married and no children. Well I know exactly how that feels because I was there. When I was turning 25 my friends joked that I was 25 turning 65. My younger self really wanted to be married and done having kids by the time I was 30. Well seeing as I'm 26 almost 27 and just married I doubt that will happen. But I'm grateful for how my life has turned out, and now can see my silliness!

Their experience reminded me of my own recent experience. My new experience kind of shocked me but I don't know why, it shouldn't have. But oh well. James and I went to our new ward on Sunday. We went to Sacrament meeting and Sunday School together. There was a nice woman that sat next to us in Sunday School. Sunday School is in the Relief Society room so James left to go to Priesthood. The woman and I started talking about how James and I had just moved into the ward and her and her husband had moved in about a month earlier and they came from Ohio. Anyway as time went on there was another woman who came and sat on the other side of the woman that was sitting next to me and they started talking about there children...lalala. I wasn't really paying attention to them, I was just really wishing church was over cause starting new things and not knowing any one gives me anxiety pretty bad. Anyway. The other girl left and right before the lesson started she turned back to me and we were small talking again. I think I said something about James' student teaching and then she asks, "Oh, do you have children?" I think a flood of emotion came to me and its a good thing I realized that she didn't know me, cause I kinda wanted to punch her...at church, right, anyway I just kinda smiled and said, "No, we just got married two weeks ago." I almost instantly felt like the only one in the room without any children (and probably was except the teacher, at least I wasn't the only one) and honestly no desire for them either. Don't worry I'm sure I will want them in the future...James hopes...but, man, weird. I think my teenage self would be pounding me for not wanting them but my current self is slightly more mature...I think.

In conclusion, life is full of weirdness and culture that makes you feel different things that might not necessarily be right for you. But the only thing that matters is that you do what you feel in your heart is truly the right thing for YOU!

Married Life

So my life has changed quite drastically, in the best way possible! Almost two weeks ago I got MARRIED!!! I think that I honestly was beginning to feel that it would never happen but as things kept happening and getting closer it wasn't weird at all! In fact it felt quite normal!

Well anyway. It has been a fun week and a half and I am looking forward to the rest of our life together! Now that all the partys and honeymoons/vacations are done its back to real life. Not exactly sure what that is right now but I can't wait to figure it out! So on our first night back to our house and the first night of our "real" life, its 3:23am. I have been awake for about 20-30 minutes couldnt sleep cause James was snoring and I could hear the neighbors upstairs! Hopefully this is NOT going to be every night and I'll eventually get used to it! But I do go back to work tomorrow! Haven't been in two weeks. We'll see how that goes.

Well I think I'm acutally feeling tired again so that I can go back to sleep! Goodnight...goodmorning?!

Less than THREE WEEKS to go!

I can't believe that its less than three weeks until my wedding. Well just barely under three weeks but still. It still seems like forever away but only in some aspects. I have to be out of my current apartment this friday as it is the 31st of July. Then after that we will only have two weeks to go. My bridal shower is this coming weekend end too! I am looking forward to that. Its always fun to have time with the girls! There are still tons of things to do, part of me doesnt want to think about it cause sometimes its overwhelming but the other part just wants it to get done cause then I get to be married to the BEST man in the world. Well the best man for me!

James has been gone to Yellowstone with his family this weekend. He was excited to see old faithful. I don't know how their trip went cause they are probably driving home now. I'm sure they had tons of fun and look forward to hearing all about it and also being back in James' arms. I understand now how he must have felt when I left to go to California without him. Life just isnt the same without him which is why I'm glad I get to be with him forever!

I'm excited to start our life together. Our apartment is a mess cause I told him I want us to put it together cause its ours hopefully it will go together quickly! I'm sure it will cause its driving me crazy!

Well I think I'm going to go home and change into regular clothes before James gets home. Its hard to be in a skirt all day long! Catch ya all later!

Planning the Marriage

Tonight James and I had a talk, not the first and definitely not the last, about our future together as husband and wife. :D I'm not going to lie, that puts a huge smile on my face! Anyway. It was just so refreshing to get to talk to him! Sometimes I feel that we are so busy with work, school and trips to California that we don't get to sit, relax and talk to each other. Although with our up coming trip together to California there will be plenty of time in the car! I love to hear his story's about when he was young, scouting stories and stories about him and his friends! He is so cute! It is just the best feeling to me that we can sit down and talk to each other openly about anything! Some subjects are a little more difficult for us be we are able to discuss anything! I am so grateful to him for his opinions, his insight and his willingness to discuss things with me. And when we disagree on something we are able to compromise and work it out. I just love him so much!

I guess I never would have thought it or really understood that being married is a better way to live. I know I've heard it but I don't think I ever really believed it until now! Well happily married that is. We aren't married yet but I know it will be good, the best! James and I will have our good and our not so good times and even some that will totally kick us in the butt, but I know how much I liked him when we started dating, then I grew to love what I knew about him and I never could have imagined how much I love him now and look forward to growing our love even more together! He is such an amazing man I am so blessed to have him as apart of my life! I know he loves me, I can see it every time I look into his eyes. That's why I love looking into to his big brown eyes and they tell me everything!
Anyway, I also just returned from California myself. It was a good trip. It was a rather busy trip. Probably one of the most busy ones I've ever had. Although that was a good thing because James was not with me and that made it a little more difficult but we both survived and are stronger because of it! Here are just a few pictures from my trip. The trip down was for my good friend's wedding and it was a beautiful wedding! I am so grateful I could be apart of it. I think that's all the good pictures I have but I know people like pictures...well at least I do! Anyway, Here's to Justin and Robyn Johns! May you have a long and happy life full of love, good memories and lots of kids! :) (Just kidding about the kids:))

Just some other fun pictures from my trip.

The Most Wonderful Man

I thought I'd be so good at blogging but well that was before I started dating James. He is the best ever for me! So I remember when I was in young women. I don't remember how old I was or which class I was in but I do remember one of my young women's leaders, Sis. Boyer, reading a part of her journal to us. This part of her journal was from when she got engaged and the part that I remember her reading was this "I just got engaged to the most wonderful man..." I don't really remember the rest. I'm sure it was cute. I remember thinking when she wrote that that I to one day wanted to write that in my journal. Well since I haven't been writing in my journal very well or blogging I thought that I would write on my blogg. "I am engaged to the most wonderful man!"

We got engaged on April 24th, 5 days before our 3 month anniversary of our first date. It was my day off that day and we hadn't been on a real date in a while. So a couple of days before then I told him we should have a date that night, and he should plan it. (Secretly hoping he would propose.) We had spend some time together earlier that day and I just kept getting the feeling he would propose that night. Well the loving roommate that I have tried to make me think that he wasn't going to do it but then when he came to pick me up for our date I knew he would. I wasn't quite ready, thats nothing new, so while I was finishing up I asked him what we were going to do. He said that we were going to go up the canyon to the place we were thinking about having our reception, and then have dinner. Yes this is true I knew it was coming so I started planning, he hadn't seen the place yet. So we go up there and we were walking around. It felt kinda wierd like we were walking around someones yard or something. Anyway he was asking me what I wanted and saw for our wedding. It was really cute and romantical. The he started messing with his phone and I couldn't figure it out. I even offered to help him, but he said he had it. He was trying to text me the song he had written, played on his guitar and recorded on his phone. Well we were up the canyon with no reception and my phone was dead anyway. So finally he just let me listen to it and then when it got over he got down on his knee and asked "Will you marry me?" and then I asked "Does the ring fit?" I know thats wierd but I had the thought a couple of days before that he might not remember to get it sized and of course my friend, the one who sold us the ring, and James didn't remember it needed to be sized. Of course I said "Yes!" some where in there. More than once I think. It was so cute! He is so cute! I love him so much, he is my closest to perfect man!

I wished I could put the sound file on here but either I can't or I don't know how, both are possible but here are the words. He is so cute!

I love the way you laugh
I love the way you smile
I love the way you that ask me to stay for a while
I love the way you are
I love the way that I am when we both get together and were holding hands
When we both get together and were holding hands
You bring out the best in me
I need you for eternity
And I'll promise all I can
And ask you for your hand?
(This is when he got down on his knee, opened the box with the ring in it and asked if I'd marry him!) Funny part is is that when he opened the box I thought thats not the ring I picked but I like this one!! :) Of course it was the ring I picked :)

And here are some pictures for those who like pictures! Good thing I got a new camera that day! Only paid $45 bucks for it. The deals I find working at staples!

I think this is right before or after, I can't remember.

This is the bridge where he proposed! :)

This is the set with the wedding band.

This is just the engagement ring (That I got Thursday! Its SOOO beautiful I love it!)

This is us at dinner after we took the rings back to the Jeweler.

I sure do love him, he is just the best! Perfect for me! I hope you all get to know and love him as much as I do, well almost as much as me. I dont think anyone can love him as much as I do! He is my angel! I had no idea that love was this amazing and life could be this good! I know its not always going to be flowers and candy but just to know that he loves me and I love him and we together rely on the Lord is enought to get us through anything!

I love you James Tyler Webb! I am so grateful for the time that we have had and look forward with my happy excited face to the future and eternity that we are going to share together!

~The future Mrs. Marjorie Emma Hart Webb! :) M.E.W :) Yeah I know I'm a cat, but I like to think tiger becuase thats both of our favorite animal! Thanks Daddy!

Fine Lines

So it has been a while since I have blogged last. Just a little over a month. So I bet as you can already tell things are going extremely well with James, well because I haven't blogged in a while. But today there is something that I want to talk about because it has been on my mind alot the last week or so.

We have something we like to call fine lines. Fine lines between this and that for just about anything we want to do or become a lot of the time its between something good or bad. This line is of course imaginary, not physically there, but in a very real sense it is there. We have to be careful of these fine lines becuase if we are not we may become or do something that was not intended. This is why we need to to make our choices carefully, and do what we feel is right. It is good to step back every once and a while to see where we are at, evaluate and do the readjusting that is necessary. I myself am at the edge of a fine line and deciding what to do, and that is what has been on my mind the last little while. I look to this song for guidance, I am putting it up so that I can be reminded of the message that is has and I also hope that it may help any of you!

Do What Is Right

Anon., The Psalms of Life, Boston 1857

Hymn No. 237

Do what is right; the day dawn is breaking,

Hailing a future of freedom and light.

Angels above are silent notes taking

Of ev'ry action; then do what is right!

Do what is right; let the consequence follow.

Battle for freedom in spirit and might;

And with stout hearts look ye forth til tomorrow.

God will protect you; then do what is right.

Do what is right; the shackles are falling.

Chains of the bonds-men no longer are bright;

Lightened by hop, soon they'll cease to be galling.

Truth goeth onward; then do what is right!

Do what is right; let the consequence follow.

Battle for freedom in spirit and might;

And with stout hearts look ye forth til tomorrow.

God will protect you; then do what is right.

Do what is right; be faithful and fearless.

Onward, press onward, the goal is in sight.

Eyes that are wet now, ere long will be tearless.

Blessings await you in doing what's right!

Do what is right; let the consequence follow.

Battle for freedom in spirit and might;

And with stout hearts look ye forth til tomorrow.

God will protect you; then do what is right.

I hope that we can all stay on the side of the line that we want. I have choosen which side I want to be on and strive to stay on that side and feel so blessed and grateful beyond words for the things that I have been given! I love you all and hope things are going well for you in your lives! Until next time!

(And for those of you who like pictures, this is the most recent picture That I have. It was taken about a month ago.)

25+ Things I Love About James!

So there is this thing going around Facebook that is 25 random things about your self. You tag someone in your note and then they have to do it. Since I have been tagged a few times I thought I would do it but I'm going to put a little twist on it. Instead of doing it about myself I'm going to do the 25+ things I love most about James. James is the guy I have been dating for the last month and since there are people that are interested in knowing about him that aren't here I thought what a great way to let them get to know him just a little bit! So here goes!

3. Knows just how to comfort me when I need it!
4. Intelligent.
5. Loves children.
6. Good with children-You should see him with his three little nephews, it is just the cutest thing you've ever seen!

9. Wants to attend the temple regularly with his wife!
10. He attends the temple himself.

Okay so my list does go on and they are not in any particular order but those are just some of the things that I love about James! He is the greatest blessing that I have in my life right now and I can't wait to see what the future brings for us! He is so amazing, wonderful, incredible and so many other things that I can not put into words!

Just a few other things about us just in case you were wondering:
*Our first date was on January 29, 2009-We went to Los 3 Amigos. It was good food and good conversation (obviously!) but we found out a couple of days after that, that we both just ate to be nice. You know the nervous first date!
*We both have brown eyes and brown hair.
*We sat next to each other for the first time in church on the 15th of February!
*He tried to kiss me for the first time on the 21st but we had a little mishap and he actually kissed me for the first time on March 1st...the one month anniversary of our first date.
*We have seen each other everyday since our first date!

Well hopefully I've done him justice and didn't embarrass him too much! He is my angel! Hope you all got to know him just a little better!

Update! Yay!

So I know its been a long time since I have blogged. I don't think I've done this since Christmas so I guess its time for an update! So after christmas I got sick. I was sick for about two weeks. I even left work early one day! I know that like never happens, I'm usually the one to stay later and make sure things get done! Anyway that wasnt any fun but when is being sick ever fun, NEVER. But honestly thats not the most exciting part of my life for the last two months. Right about the time I was getting better there was a guy in my ward, after a couple of days of texting back and forth, he asked me out to dinner! That was almost three weeks ago. January 29th. It will be three weeks on Thursday. Of course we have almost been inseparable since then. I think we have seen each other everyday since then. We haven't done anything totally exciting. But it has been fun and amazing being with him. He is such a sweetheart! Our second date we went to a birthday party and after that we went and helped a friend, that he had never met before, move from their condo to their new town home. We got there and he jumped right in! I have to admit I didn't really do anything becuase I didnt really have a coat and it was cold outside! But WOW! That is only the beginning! He is so funny, he always makes me laugh and always has a smile on! He is so smart! He might not tell you so but he really is. He is amazing! He is so cute with his three little nephew's, they sure do love him! He was really good with Aaron too! I kinda wonder if Aaron liked him a little more than me :( Oh well it was cute! The ward had a valentines day dance. They fixed everyone up with a date. Of course James and I went together. It was really fun. They tried to teach us how to swing dance and then they played some other types of music too. I love to dance. I'm not very good at it but it was fun. James likes to country swing dance and he kinda put a little of that into it. It was really fun. It was kinda like a homecoming or winter formal dance they even took pictures of everyone that wanted. I know some people, Mom, want to see a picture, so here it is:

It was a fun night! Valentines day was a good day. Relaxing I think. I talked to my mom early that morning which was fun. I haven't really talked to her much, gee I wonder why. Anyway. James came for breakfast we had french toast. I went to walmart before he came to get a heart shaped cookie cutter and they were OUT! I can't believe it! So we just had regular french toast. He took me out to Sizzler for lunch which was the BEST! That place has been one of my favorites since I was a little girl! Salad bar, and Ice Cream! Yum! The steak was really good too! James had the chicken and I think he really liked it. We also went to babysit Aaron that night so that Jo and Alex could have a date! Aaron is so cute, even when he is being kind of a stinker. I just love that little man! After that we came back to my house and watched You've Got Mail. It had been a long time since I've seen that movie. It's so cute. Oh and of course the incredible man that James is he brought me flowers! An arrangement of red roses and tulips and of course some truffles! He sure know's my weaknesses! Chocolate...well sugar. They were really yummy! I love tulips they are my favorite! I even took a picutre of them! Its the background on my phone! I just love to look at them. They make me smile everytime i see it! Here is a picture:

Overall things for me have been fabulous! Work is still the same. I am grateful to have a job!

For Mom

So this post is for my mom. Who I am sitting on the phone with at this moment. I just love cell phones. My mom and I can sit on the phone for hours, not even talking and it doesnt cost any more than my regular monthly bill! Thank goodness for cell phones, goodbye long distance fees! Well anyway, I have started a new quilt. It is a nine patch. I did it once with her when I was at home, well actually I can't remember I think we may have done it at my house on one of her many trips out here. Anyway I have started a quilt with that pattern and I'm posting up some pictures of the first square I did and the first row. I tried calling my mom a few times and after being frustrated that I couldnt get a hold of her I went and acutally figured it out on my own! So here they are:

As you can kind of tell by the picture, the row, on the left side is slightly larger than it ends up on the right side. Oh well, no ones perfect. And neither are any of the quilts I've ever made! Well there is the beginning of one of my current projects. I also just recently finished a scarf I'd been working on here is a picture of it hanging from my door.

Since the beginning of this new year I have decided to be more productive. I think I'm doing a pretty good job at it. I even have a journal that I write in everyday to help myself see what I have accomplished during that day and other things that I want to get done in the future. Some short term and some long term that will happen over time! It has been going great for the last two weeks so for me that is a good sign! And you all get to reap the benefits of that becuase then I post up a new blog and show you my progress! Yay for progress! Well I hope to get this quilt finished soon becuase I have quite a few I want to do this year! I think I have figured there is always something that can be done and that is why I have multiple projects going at one time. Yes I have my new quilt project but I have also started a new scarf. That will be number three when it is finished. Well anyway I think I have started blabbering on about non-important things! Enjoy the pictures!

Before and After

No this is not my weight loss pictures. I wish! New Years Day was my day off this week and so I figured since I had the time that I'd rearrange the furniture in my bedroom to get by bed out from under both of the windows that are in my room. For some crazy reason the switch has made my room feel bigger, like it has more room. It's all the same furniture! Any ideas? Well anyway I thought I'd post up before pictures:

And before video:

And (Drum roll please...) After pictures.

And after video:

I know the video is a little dark but you get the point. So for all those interested parties. There are the pictures of my fabulous new set up. I like that it makes me feel like I have more room but my pillows can fall of my bed. Not such a huge fan of that and my computer is now right by the window so its kinda cold. I didn't notice it so much when it was my bed because I was under covers but now, my right hand feels like it could freeze off! But I like it okay. I am not going to move it so I guess I'm stuck with it! Oh well!

Christmas/New Years

I wish that I would have had a blog a long time ago because then it would have helped me to bring my camera to take pictures of things, cause I would want to post them. So anyway. My parents decided to come for Christmas this year. Its the first time in 22 years they have been back to Utah since our family moved away. So anyway, we were supposed to have Christmas Eve dinner at my house. I wasn't going to get a Christmas tree or any decorations because I thought what was the point. Well since my parents were coming and were were supposed to have Christmas Eve dinner at my house I thought I should get a Christmas Tree. I think I got the tree the weekend before and it honestly didn't get finished until Christmas Eve after we got home from dinner. Of course I decorated it with pink and silver balls and used a piece of pink fabric from my small fabric store as my mom likes to call it. Christmas Eve dinner was delicious! We had salmon! And some other good sides. I'm not going to lie, I can't remember what they were but it was a really good dinner!

Here is the Christmas tree with presents under it. Those presents aren't actually for me they are just the ones I wrapped for my family and put under there for the picture. Here is a picture of it in the dark. Pretty cool I think!

So there is my beautiful Christmas tree. It actually looked cuter in real life but I guess pictures will have to do!

Christmas morning was really awesome! Santa brought me AWESOME presents and great fun! I must have been really good this year because Santa brought me a gift certificate to get 4 brand new tires on my car! A fabulous Beach Boys CD set to listen to in my car! I have a special place in my heart for the Beach Boys! Daddy took my T-bird away but I do have a Little Honda ;) Curtis also sent me some great new scents from Bath and Body Works that I haven't tried yet! I definitely look forward to trying them though. Santa also brought everyone in my family a new 2009 family calendar. I think he brings those for Mom. I enjoy them too and get some great use out of them! Overall it was an enjoyable day! I don't think some members of my family would appreciate pictures from Christmas morning put up from them so I'll just put in the cutest one I have.

This is Aaron's first Christmas. He was such a great sport and even helped open his presents a little too!

Yup isn't he so cute! Cutest EVER! We even went to Tempanyaki for dinner that night to because everyone at my aunts house was sick and Mom didn't want to get it. That was fun and really good. Tried some great sushi, it was a bit spicy but good! I think that is becoming a new tradition. That's two years in a row! But its a really good one!

New Years Eve was fun! My roommate and I got all dolled up to go to this singles dance at the stake center across from the Timpanogos Temple but we weren't there very long. The people that were there were not really my age group. Well at least they looked like they were 18 or maybe I'm just a pansy! So then we just ended up going over to my one of my best friends house and singing Karaoke and hanging out. It was fun! I wish I had pictures but I once again forgot my camera. New Years Resolution: Remember Camera and take more pictures for blog and Facebook!

And the BEST part of this whole holiday season. New Years Day I decided since the holidays were over it was time to put it all away. And so I set out to war with putting my Christmas tree back in the box. And I WON! And the Christmas lights got in on the war and they lost too! The christmas tree gave me a battle wound but it still lost! I got both the christmas tree and the lights back into their original boxes! Heck Yeah! Here are some pictures for your enjoyment.
